SHOPPERS have the chance to win a £200 supermarket sweep in York, in aid of a local charity.

The Co-op store in Hull Road has teamed up with Survive to offer the three-minute trolley-dash.

Raffle tickets are being sold in all Co-op stores in York and the winner will be allowed to claim their prize on June 22.

The winner will be allowed to dash round the store for three minutes to claim up to £200 of shopping for free, but it's not as easy as it sounds - alcohol and tobacco are excluded and no more than two of any one item can be taken.

Helen Aitchison, from Survive, said: "We would like to thank the Co-Op for supporting Survive in this trolley dash and helping us to raise valuable funds. It promises to be great fun for the winner and there is still time to get tickets from Co-op stores."

Survive is based in Priory Street and works with victims of sexual abuse or assault.
