The streets of Copmanthorpe were alive with the sound of music and fun, fun, fun, as the village held a May Day street fair.
The annual event featured all the traditional attractions of a village fair and this year had a vintage theme.
But it also had some up-to-date features, such as the local bands who turned out to play 21st century music.
Yellow plastic ducks and Aunt Emily's Toffees kept the children happy, as did the swingboats and train and tea cup rides.
Their parents listened to the musicians who included veteran accordion players, and inspected the handiwork on the craftwork stalls.
The village's parish council had a stall and traditional British bank holiday refreshments of hot dogs and ice cream were also on offer.
The street fair was held on Low Green at the village's centre and attracted residents of all ages from the local area.
