A 34-year-old local man has been arrested and bailed by police who are continuing to investigate an attack on an amputee busker in York.

The eastern European victim aged in his 20s, who has no legs, was sat on a skateboard performing on Coney Street when the incident happened at noon on Saturday last week.

He was abused and his belongings kicked over before some members of the public intervened and a male suspect left the scene.
