Woman arrested after A19 crash
A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car crashed on the A19 in North Yorkshire early today.
The green Vauxhall Corsa crashed into the central reservation near Northallerton and Ingleby Arncliffe at 12.40am.
Another driver had stopped and phoned police to say the car was on the central reservation with two people sitting beside it.
A breath test gave a reading of twice the legal drink drive limit, police said. The woman, who is 23, remains in police custody.
