A MAN has been charged in connection with a stabbing outside a North Yorkshire pub.
North Yorkshire Police arrested the 31-year-old man from the Whitby area yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder, over an incident outside the Hare and Hounds pub in High Hawsker on Sunday.
A 30-year-old man from Belper, Derbyshire suffered a number of stab wounds in the incident, and is currently in a stable condition at James Cook University Hospital, Teesside.
The 31-year-old was charged last night with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article, and will appear before Scarborough Magistrates' Court today.
