A CYCLIST suffered a broken neck in a crash with a car in Thirsk on Monday.
The 35-year-old woman was riding in Westgate at about 1.30pm when her bike collided with a blue Ford Fiesta.
She suffered three fractures to her neck, and was taken to Friarage Hospital for treatment. A police spokesman said her injuries were not life threatening or life-changing.
North Yorkshire Police have urged anyone who saw the incident or either vehicle before the crash to contact them on 101.
