Woman injured in crash near York railway station
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with a leg injury after being hit by a car this morning.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the woman, believed to be in her forties, was walking in Station Avenue, close to York railway station, when she was struck by a Honda Accord at about 8.10am today.
The spokesman said the woman had been taken to York Hospital, but the extent of her injuries is not yet known.
