A YORK property which has been owned by the same family for more than 60 years is being brought to the market by auction.
The property , in Main Street, Fulford, was originally purchased in 1952 for £850.
Dating back to Victorian heritage, the property was previously home to Ridsdales, a bakers and local shop, and more recently was occupied by Fantasy World Costumer Shop.
It is being brought to the market as a result of the business relocating to Clifton Moor.
The property is arranged over three floors and has planning permission for eight en-suite rooms and a one bedroom annex.
The sale is being held by public auction on Wednesday at York Racecourse from 6pm, with a guide price of £350,000 to £400,000.
