Bogus police riddle in York car park
TWO young men in ordinary clothes approached a man and a woman in York’s Marygate car park at about 5pm yesterday, purporting to be police officers and telling the woman: “You are under arrest.”
North Yorkshire Police said the woman was quite upset, and the matter was under investigation.
