A VAN was left lying on its side next to a North Yorkshire motorway this morning after crashing into a sign.
The crash happened at about 7.50am on the northbound section of the A1 near Wetherby, with police teams from West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire called to the scene.
The Ford Transit was badly damaged but nobody was injured and police said no other vehicles were involved. The owner of the van said another vehicle was involved.
