Barbican afternoon show cancelled
YORK Barbican's afternoon performance has been cancelled.
The theatre's staging of Anton du Beke's Ballroom to Broadway was due to go on at 3pm but had to be cancelled after a fire at a theatre in Derby prevented the show's technical equipment being brought to York this morning.
Barbican staff have been performing ticket holders and offering them chance to switch to tonight's 7.30pm show.
