VANDALS have attacked another sign warning drivers of York’s controversial 20mph speed limits.
The sign at the corner of Beagle Ridge Drive and Huntsman’s Walk, in Foxwood, was pulled from the ground.
A City of York Council spokeswoman said the authority had received reports of several road signs in the city being vandalised, and these were not just 20mph signs.
She said they had now been fixed and anybody spotting the signs being attacked or damaged should phone the council on 01904 551550 or North Yorkshire Police on 101.
Last week, The Press reported how a 20mph sign at the corner of Dijon Avenue and Green Lane in Acomb had also been felled.
