TWO people have been injured in a three-car crash on the outskirts of York today.
The crash happened on the A1079 as it crosses the A64 at Grimston Bar at about 12.50pm, with police and fire crews being called to the scene.
One person suffered back injuries and was helped from their car by firefighters, with reports that the roof of the vehicle was cut off. Another person was also injured, but neither of the casualties was seriously hurt.
The road was blocked, although not closed, after the crash but has now been cleared and emergency services have left the scene.
