Girl, 16, hurt in crash

A TEENAGER has been injured in a town-centre crash in North Yorkshire.
The 16-year-old pedestrian was taken to Harrogate District Hospital following the collision, also involving a blue Citroen Xsara, at the junction of Hookstone Road and Oatlands Drive in Harrogate at about 6pm last Friday.
She was not seriously injured and was later discharged. Anybody who saw the crash should phone Traffic Constable Steve James at North Yorkshire Police's roads policing unit on 101 or email email@example.com.
