The York Teaching Hospital Charity still has 20 places available in the Jane Tomlinson York 10k and is appealing for help to fill the places.
The run is on Sunday, July 31, at 9am, starting at York Racecourse. Due to the short notice, all the charity requires is a minimum sponsorship of £50 which does not have to be in until August 31.
However all registrations must be received by July 20. The charity will supply sponsor forms and a t-shirt.
Lucy Watson, YTHC fundraising manager, said supporters could choose where their sponsorship money is spent, whether this is to a specific department or ward. The charity raises funds for the Trust to help fund additional facilities, equipment, research and specialist staff training.
To take part in the York 10k in support of the YTHC, phone Lucy Watson on 01904 721737 or email lucy.watson@york.nhs.uk
