A MAN has been airlifted to hospital from a park in York this morning.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to Acomb Green at about 10.30am.
A spokeswoman said a local man, believed to be aged in his 50s, had suffered a suspected heart attack on a building site close to the scene.
She said his condition was serious, and he has been taken to Castle Hill Hospital in Hull..
North Yorkshire Fire Service also attended the scene to assist paramedics in moving the patient from the building site at the junction of Askham Lane to the air ambulance.
