GOLFERS could win a new car if they score a hole in one at the annual Fulford Golf Club Hospice Tournament.
Turnbull Mazda of Layerthorpe, York, is offering the special prize for any participant scoring an eagle at the par-three third hole.
Golfers will also be competing for individual men’s, ladies’ and team prizes at the event on May 23 in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice.
Organisers of this year’s event, the 34th, are hoping to top last year’s fundraising total of more than £12,000.
Annie Keogh, corporate fundraiser for the hospice, said: “Fulford Golf Club has been one of the hospice’s most stalwart supporters, and the players in its annual Hospice Golf Tournament have helped raise amazing amounts for our work.”
