A MAN has been arrested over an attack that left a York man with a fractured skull.
The victim, a 25-year-old local man, was on his way home from a night out in the city centre when he was attacked by another man on Lendal Bridge at about 3.25am on Saturday, January 25. He remains in hospital.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said a 20-year-old local man was arrested at about noon today in connection with the attack, and had been released on bail until next month.
Police have urged anyone who saw the attack to contact them with any information.
