A YORK woman has admitted a seven-year benefit fraud which saw her being overpaid income support, housing benefit and council tax benefit.
Karen Fligg, 54, appeared at York Crown Court yesterday.
Fligg, of Jute Road, Acomb, pleaded guilty to two charges of dishonestly failing to tell the Department of Work and Pensions and City of York Council that she was married and living with her husband, Stephen Fligg, between 2005 and 2012.
The case was adjourned for probation service reports to be prepared and Fligg will be sentenced on Monday, March 10.
