A WOMAN who was seen on the wrong side of a York bridge's parapet has now been found elsewhere, safe and well.
Police were called this morning to Clifton Bridge, over the River Ouse, after concerns were raised about the woman.
It is understood North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service’s rescue boat was also called to the scene.
North Yorkshire Police said the woman had climbed back over the parapet and walked off the bridge before police arrived, and she was later found elsewhere, safe and well.
