CONSERVATIVE Party offices in York have been attacked by vandals who threw a brick through the window.

The attack happened between December 20 and Christmas, but was revealed by police only today.

It is the third attack in the past year on the offices, on the corner of Ash Street and Poppleton Road. A brick was also thrown through the window last May, and the police report at the time said there had also been an attack four weeks earlier.

It is not known whether the attacks were random or politically-motivated, North Yorkshire Police said.

PC Alan Collier said: “If you witnessed the damage taking place, or can help to identify those responsible for this utterly pointless act of mindless vandalism, I urge you to come forward.”
