UPDATE: North Yorkshire Police have confirmed Mr Walker was found safe and well in Harrogate this morning.

CONCERNS have been raised for the welfare of a Harrogate man, missing since yesterday.

Roger Walker, 41, was last seen by his partner at their home in Bramham Drive, Harrogate, at about midday on Friday, and North Yorkshire Police officers have conducted extensive searches in the area since he was reported missing.

Their searches are currently focussed in the area around Oakdale Golf Course, and members of the public have been urged to report any sightings of anyone matching Mr Walker’s description.

He is described as white, about 5ft 7in tall, with a stocky build, short, brown hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen Roger was wearing dark blue jeans, a red and blue skiing jacket, brown boots and a grey woolly hat. He also wears a gold hoop earring in one of his ears.

Inspector John Downham, of North Yorkshire Police, said: “Roger has been missing overnight and it is important that we locate him and make sure he is safe and well. I would urge people who are out and about in the Harrogate area to be vigilant and let us know if they see him.”

Anyone with information should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
