Police concerned for missing York woman
UPDATED 1pm, Wednesday: North Yorkshire Police have confirmed Christine has been found, and thanked the public for their help.
CONCERNS are growing for a woman who has gone missing from her Copmanthorpe home.
Christine Birkinshaw, 67, was reported missing from her home at about 6.10pm today, and is described as 5ft 2ins tall, with a stocky build, wearing jeans and a blue blouson coat.
A police spokesman said Ms Birkinshaw was believed to have left her home on foot and urged anyone who sees her to phone 101 quoting log number 406.
