YORK Housing Association has been ranked among the top 50 social landlords in the UK.
Judges placed the Monks Cross-based organisation in 37th place, higher than many other much larger housing associations, in the top 50, compiled by housing magazine 24Housing in conjunction with the Housing Quality Network.
YHA chief executive Julia Huston said:" This is fantastic news and is recognition of the dedication of our team and our determination to continue to make a real difference the quality of our customers lives.
"To be ranked 37 in the UK is quite an achievement considering our relatively small size and the judges have seen that our values, commitment and passion are a match for the larger housing associations."
