YORKSHIRE’S Regional Food Group is to move out of York after announcing a new partnership with the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
Deliciouslyorkshire will be strengthening its links with the Yorkshire Agricultural Society by relocating its staff from Askham Bryan College to the society’s offices at The Great Yorkshire Showground, in Harrogate.
Deliciouslyorkshire, which has two full-time staff and a board of nine, also welcome a new chairman of the board as Nick Stafford, managing director of Hambleton Ales takes up the post.
Mr Stafford said: “These are exciting times for deliciouslyorkshire and we’re thrilled to announce what we hope will be a long and fruitful allegiance between deliciouslyorkshire, The Yorkshire Agricultural Society and Askham Bryan College.
“Farming and agriculture is at the very heart of Yorkshire’s food industry and we hope to use this partnership to cement further our relationship with Yorkshire’s farmers and producers.”
While Deliciouslyorkshire will be based at the showground, Askham Bryan College will continue to support deliciouslyorkshire by providing learning and development facilities for the organisation’s members.
