TWO ambulances on emergency call-outs crashed in York this afternoon.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service have confirmed that two of their vehicles - both travelling with blue lights and sirens - were in a collision with one other vehicle on Hull Road at about 2.30pm.
One ambulance was bringing a patient back into York to the hospital and the other was on its way to an emergency in Pattrington.
Both ended up with minor damage in the crash, but the first carried on to hospital with its patient.
An ambulance service spokesman said they sent two more ambulances out as a precaution.
Police said no one in the other vehicle was injured.
