EXTRA uniformed and plain clothes officers from British Transport Police will be on patrol on trains and platforms around North Yorkshire this Christmas, in a series of special operations to tackle thieves.
Officers will also be on the look out for those who act antisocially, ensuring that rail staff are not subjected to any kind of abuse or assault.
Video clips have also been uploaded at btp.police.uk/theft to help the public identify the 13 most common tricks used by thieves.
