PLANS for six holiday lodges and a wildlife pond on a former quarry site and farmland between York and Selby have been put on hold.
Proposals for the “small-scale” holiday and leisure scheme at Crockey Hill were submitted to City of York Council earlier this year.
They included cabins intended to attract families and couples and a landscaping project on the area previously used for a sand quarry.
The plans for the Crockey Hill Farm site on Wheldrake Lane, which is within the green belt, were slightly amended following a public consultation in June, but have now been withdrawn.
