TWO men were trapped in their car after a crash outside a York police station tonight.
The crash, which did not involve any other vehicles, happened on Acomb Road next to Acomb police station at about 7.50pm.
Fire crews were called to the scene and cut the men free from the car, as their injuries meant they were unable to get out. The extent of their injuries is not yet known and they have both been taken to hospital.
Bus operator First's No.1 service is now operating as normal, having been diverted for several hours following the accident because of the closure of Acomb Road, which has now been reopened.
