YORK’S biggest bus operator First claims revellers have no excuse for drink-driving this Christmas after launching a new festive initiative allowing two customers to travel for £5 after 5pm.
A spokesman said the deal was a significant saving on the price of regular bus ticket and the money saved could be used for shopping or other leisure purposes during the Christmas and New Year period.
