THE victim of an attack remains in a stable condition in hospital, North Yorkshire Police have said.
A spokesman said Karen Browne, 23, who was seriously injured in an attack at Phoenix Boulevard on Sunday, October 20, is likely to remain in hospital for some time, but is recovering.
Miss Browne’s friend and colleague, Nicole Waterhouse, 32, was found dead in the flat with cuts to her neck and body.
The funeral for Miss Waterhouse will be held on Friday at Howden Minster, followed by a private committal. Her family have asked for donations in lieu of flowers to Martin House Children’s Hospice, the NSPCC, or Howden Minster.
Jeremy Peter Andrew Green, 25, has been charged with murder and attempted murder over the attacks and is due in court next week.
