THE inquest into the death of York murder victim Nicole Waterhouse will open on Monday, police have said.
Miss Waterhouse, 32, was found dead in a flat in Phoenix Boulevard off Leeman Road last Sunday. Karen Browne, 23, was found seriously injured at the same flat and is in a critical but stable condition in York Hospital.
Miss Waterhouse grew u in Breighton near Selby and Miss Browne grew up in Linton-on-Ouse. Both women worked for Hunters Estate Agent as sales negotiators.
Jeremy Peter Andrew Green, 25, of Popeshead Court in York city centre, has been charged with murder and attempted murder and will next appear in Leeds Crown Court next month.
The inquest will open at Sentinel House in Peasholme Green at 2pm on Monday.
