Bus passengers asked for feedback
9:05am Friday 25th October 2013 in News
BUS passengers in York are being asked to give their feedback on new timetables introduced as part of a two-month trial.
The timetables have been installed at 42 stops along the No10 route. City of York Council said they are part of a “makeover” to improve services and waiting facilities in and around the city. They will use a single design showing all departures from stops by various operators in order of time.
They have been paid for through part of the £3.5 million Better Bus Area Fund awarded to the authority last year, and following the trial and any necessary improvements, the timetables are intended to be rolled out across the whole bus network during December and January. Coun Dave Merrett said: “This is all about making it easier for people to use bus services.”
