Saying Goodbye service at York Minster

A service will be held at York Minster today at 1.30pm for families who have lost a baby.
The Saying Goodbye service is the first of a national set of remembrance services to be held around the country for anyone who has lost a baby during pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy.
The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, and his wife are ambassadors for the Saying Goodbye charity.
Another service will be held in St Luke’s Chapel at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton, next Saturday, at 3pm. For further details of the Friarage event, phone Lisa Payne, bereavement link midwife, on 01609 763083.
