TV chef Theo Randell hosted a charity food night at ASK’s York restaurant in the Assembly Rooms on Saturday, featuring fine Italian food and wine.
The meal was part of a national ‘Grand Tour’ organised by ASK with the aim of raising a quarter of a million pounds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
A group of cyclists arrived at the restaurant to cheers from their supporters after cycling from ASK’s Scarborough restaurant on Saturday at the end of a sponsored 600-mile, six-day ride down from Aberdeen.
