9:35am Monday 9th September 2013 in News
THE family of the victim of an unprovoked attack in a York street have said his condition is continuing to improve in hospital.
Anthony Lansbury, 51, was found with a serious head injury in Melrosegate at about 1am last Thursday and is in intensive care at Hull Royal Infirmary, where he has undergone several operations.
His sister, Kim Farrar, said yesterday that her brother was still not fully conscious, but was now able to recognise people and talk and that he had made progress over the weekend.
He is expected to remain in hospital for several weeks as doctors assess the full extent of his injuries.
