Joshua Cooper located and returned to police custody
POLICE have located Joshua Cooper, 21, who was wanted for recall to prison.
Cooper, of Osbaldwick, was sentenced to 24 months imprisonment in December 2011 for GBH, after he hit a man with a wooden pole.
North Yorkshire Police said Cooper was released on licence in August 2012, but has since become a suspect in another assault case.
A police spokesman said Cooper handed himself in to officers at about 6am this morning, and he remains in police custody.
The spokesman thanked the public for their help.
