Man attacked by dogs in York
4:41pm Sunday 1st September 2013 in News
POLICE are hunting for the owner of four dogs after they attacked a man in York.
The victim was set upon in Carnot Street near Leeman Road at around 8.30am last Wednesday, officers have said.
He escaped serious injury but police are now trying to trace the owner and have leafleted local houses as they search for information.
A police flyer distributed locally said: “Although [the victim] was not seriously hurt he was very frightened and distressed. There is also concern that if this happens to a small child it could be a lot worse. We would like to trace and speak with the owner of these dogs and any assistance from yourself would be much appreciated.”
