FANS of a traditional pub game will be gathering at the Fulford Arms in York tomorrow.
The pub is hosting an afternoon tournament on its newly installed billiards table.
The game has enjoyed a resurgence in York recently, with increased interest and demand. For many years, The Golden Ball in Bishophill was the only York pub with a table.
But The Phoenix, the Fulford Arms and the Knavesmire now have tables and a local league has been launched. Tomorrow’s tournament begins at 2pm.
