BROMSGROVE Sporting joint boss Ade Mander has said the door is still open for ex-Leeds United striker Simon Johnson.
The 30-year-old played in last Saturday’s 4-3 loss to Phoenix but has moved on and has been linked with Hednesford Town.
“Simon is a family friend and he’s played for us last weekend because he needed some fitness,” said Mander.
“He wants to play at a higher level but if he did want to play for us then door is not closed.
“We’re still a few players short and we’ll have another four or five coming in.”
Bromsgrove beat Archdale 73 4-0 on Saturday, with Will Tibbetts, Snape, Wilkinson and Jake Brown on target.
Sporting entertained Halesowen Town last night and then visit at Coventry Sphinx on Saturday (3pm ) and Black Country Rangers next Tuesday.
