AS a UKIP candidate standing for Redditch South Division in the recent County Council Elections, I would like to take this opportunity of personally thanking all of those constituents who voted for me and UKIP as a viable mainstream political party.
I find it most humbling that so many (1,402) put their trust in me to represent them at Worcester County Hall and say to them that although I came a creditable fourth in the Redditch South Division, the margins were very narrow, in fact, all UKIP candidates representing Redditch in general achieved marvellous results particularly when one considers that we came from nowhere and actually had two candidates elected. My congratulations to Stuart Cross and Martin Jenkins.
Next year we have the Redditch Council and European Elections to look forward to and so it is our intention to build on our current momentum and success.
'Onwards and Upwards ' is the UKIP cry.
