THE trial date of six people charged over an alleged bank van robbery in Acomb has been set for September 30 at York Crown Court.
Six people, four from York and two from Liverpool, have appeared before the courts accused of conspiring together to rob G4S staff between April 16, 2012, and October 12, 2012.
They were arrested after an employee of G4S Cash Solutions was attacked outside the Lloyds TSB branch in Front Street, Acomb on April 18, 2012.
The six alleged conspirators are: Martin Cooke, 24, of Walmgate, York, Kieran Luke Charles Guildford, 19, of Gale Lane, York, Matthew Hawksby, 23, of Carelton Street, Acomb, Adam Herrington, 24, of Hewley Avenue, York, and Lisa Johanne Gardner, 35, of Rudgrave Place, Wallasey, all of whom are on bail, and Marlon Otis Benjamin, 22, of Springfield Place, Wallasay, who is remanded in custody.
