Rawcliffe post office to close for refurbishment

A POST office in a York suburb is to open for longer following a modernisation.

The Eastholme Drive Post Office in Rawcliffe is changing to a new style open-plan branch, which will be open 97 hours a week, with services available seven days a week.

The Post Office will close for refurbishment at 5:30pm on Wednesday and the new-look post office is scheduled to open at 9am on Saturday.

The nearest alternative Post Office then is in Crichton Avenue.

Good news!!! About time the Post Office system was brought up to date. Fab Post Office in Rawcliffe very efficient and friendly

I hope council put more litter bins out side the shops the bins never seem to get emptied and on Rawcliffe bar county park the bog bins have been removed its disgraceful this is a health hazard children play on the where was the council environmental health department when the bins was removed.
