Vehicles damaged in two crashes on Elvington Lane

FOUR cars and a van were damaged in two crashes on a road near York.
The first collision happened at about 5.05pm on Tuesday on Elvington Lane, in Elvington, and involved a red Mazda, a blue Audi A6, a red Citroen Berlingo van and a red Vauxhall Corsa.
Later than evening, at about 7.30pm, a Peugeot came off the same stretch of road, near Elvington Airfield, and landed in trees by the side of the road, with no other vehicles being involved. No one was injured in either of the crashes.
