Man bailed after woman is injured in Acomb

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in which a woman was injured in Acomb.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man after reports of a disturbance in Tudor Road.
A 38-year-old woman suffered an injury to her shoulder and was taken to York District Hospital for treatment.
The man was released on bail as inquiries into the incident, which happened at 12.15pm on Sunday, continued.
