Two car accident disrupts traffic in York
RUSH hour traffic was disrupted this morning in York when two cars collided at a busy junction.
North Yorkshire Police said the Hyundai Accent collided with a VW Golf at the junction of Melrosegate and Hull Road at 7.50am, blocking traffic until the vehicles were pushed to the side of the road.
A spokesman said no one was injured, adding that the road might temporarily need to close again later to allow for the damaged vehicles to be taken away.
