No parking during Heslington Lane repairs

WORK will start on Monday to resurface Heslington Lane in Fulford, York.

Drivers are being asked not to park in Heslington Lane and residents are also asked to ensure that cars are removed from their driveway before 8am should they wish to use the vehicle while work is carried out next to properties.

A spokesman for City of York Council said that if residents needed to gain access to their property at any time they could ask a member of staff on site for assistance.

Normal working hours will be between 8am and 5pm.

The work is expected to take three days to complete, subject to weather conditions.

The road will be closed in both directions with diversions signposted. Bus stops within the area of the works will not be in use during the period of construction.

For further bus route information, phone 01904 551400.
