Vikings take to the streets of York
VIKING warriors have taken to the streets of York again, as part of the city’s annual Viking Festival.
Sigwulf and Fastwulf, or Neil Tattersal and Stuart Perry, took part in a fight at the Guildhall, organised by History’s Maid on behalf of the Jorvik Viking Festival.
This year’s festival, the 28th, will see more than 40,000 visitors visit the city, including Viking re-enactors from across Europe.
