A19 police chase ends in arrest

A MAN was arrested following a police chase in North Yorkshire.
The 38-year-old was allegedly wanted on warrant when police on routine patrol spotted him in the passenger seat of a car on the A19 near Riccall.
The vehicle did not stop for the officers who followed it until it stopped in Brayton Lane near Selby and the man ran away, police said. He was arrested nearby.
