Firefighters rescue girl from tree

AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl had to be rescued from a tree in East Yorkshire by firefighters this afternoon.
The youngster became stuck 25ft from the ground in the conifer tree on Schofield Avenue, Beverley, just after 4pm. Fire crews used a triple extension ladder to bring the girl, who was not injured, to safety.
